We never tire of this place - truly. It's a real privilege to share a piece of the history and the beauty of this property with new guests. There's a wonderful effect staying at Richmond House Cottages has on the soul, and we always aim to give our guests space and total privacy to enjoy it here. We aren't far away though and the attention to detail and service is something we count truly important in a luxury self catering experience.
We have just extended our wifi range which enables all our guests to go online from a hotspot in our small shop, The Cape Workshop. While you are using it, feel free to browse around and see our furniture, antique smalls and reasonably priced mohair.
Took a walk around the property today and enjoyed the coral trees blooming and signalling the start of Spring. Sandymount is surrounded by coral trees, Richmond House too and the clivias are starting to show their beauty around Fig Tree Cottage and the boma.
Not long to go til the annual Inter Varsity Boat Race, and our guests will get to enjoy the colours of spring, the shimmering Kowie River and lots of fun and healthy competition over a weekend of rowing.
We've had a really warm spell this week, and our coral trees are starting to bloom. It seems spring is just around the corner!
